Do I need to have access to a computer to attend?
Based on financial need, we provide eligible students a loaner laptop (K–12 students) or tablet (Early Learner and K Prep students) and printer to ensure they have the equipment they need for school. These tablets, laptops and printers are Highpoint Virtual Academy of Michigan (HVAM) instructional property and must be returned when the student leaves the school. HVAM also provides assistance with technical and software issues for loaner laptops and printers.
What computer skills are required?
The Learning Coach needs to have at least basic computer skills. Use of the computer is an important part of the online school program. In the elementary grades, it is mostly the Learning Coach who interacts with the computer. Middle school and high school students are most successful if they have basic computer skills.
How do I get technical support?

What does the computer system loaned by HVAM include?
